California Association of Nonprofits
CalNonprofits is a membership organization for more than 3,000 nonprofit organizations in California, and recently released its Causes Count report on the economic impact of the nonprofit sector.
California Community Foundation
CCF is a major funder of the nonprofit sector in Southern California, and has available on its website a report with many useful statistics about the coming transfer of wealth in the region.
Center on Philanthropy and Public Policy, University of Southern California
CPPP promotes more effective philanthropy and strengthens the nonprofit sector through research that informs philanthropic decision making and public policy to advance problem solving.
Community Foundation of the Valleys
CFV offers Donor Advised Funds for philanthropists in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, and provides leadership in philanthropy for this geographic region.

DMLA is a project which provides information on dance resources, who works in dance in LA County, and a social map of who’s talking about dance and what they’re talking about.
